With a view to making overseas readers understand and know China, CNPIEC has established Overseas Publishing and Distribution Center as well as affiliates and jointly-funded publishing houses in such countries and regions as US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, ROK and Hong Kong to publish and distribute books related to Chinese culture, education, academics, tourism and arts. The center vigorously promotes the translation and introduction of Chinese books to foreign countries through fostering extensive relationship and cooperating with overseas publishing circle. In the meantime, the center also undertakes such businesses as editing, designing and printing for overseas publishing houses, and establishes a platform for publishing and distribution at home and abroad to give full play to the advantages of domestic and overseas markets and enthusiastically make contributions to cultural exchanges.
